Here's Raquel performing the routine (work-in-progress) for this year's Year 6 Let's Dance - watch and rehearse over half term. Happy Dancing! ...the school's new Pearl drum kit.Our drum teacher, Loz Thomas, helps to tune the drums and has a play to get a 'feel' for the new drum kit. Please note changes to the auditions for Battle of the Bands:
Auditions will now take place Monday 29th February - Friday 4th March. The timings of auditions will be released and uploaded the week before. The final will still take place on Wednesday 9th March. We've currently received a record number of band entries for this year's battle (51 bands) so it will be a very busy audition week. Good luck to everyone taking part. Only 12 bands will make it through to the final. Apologies for the date changes - this is because Miss Rusbatch is attending the Music Education Expo in London and the Awards for Excellence ceremony in Knightsbridge. Orchestra will also be cancelled that week - Thursday 25th February.

The children in Orchestra have been developing their compositional ideas for our composition, entitled, Space Sailing. The piece was initially inspired by a short melody, composed by Max. To watch and listen to the development of this new piece, visit the Orchestra page.
The children in 4DP and 4F have been developing their music-reading and recorder-playing skills very quickly, thanks to their effort and concentration and perseverance. Keep it up kids!
