Festival of Rugby - Pitch Perfect - Shining Brighter - Sunday 20th September 2015
Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in today's fantastic performances of 'Shining Brighter' - a commissioned piece, co-written by children in Brighton & Hove schools and James Redwood. James then arranged the pieces for the Brighton & Hove Youth Big Band, and they also performed brilliantly today. Thank you to everyone in the audience for adding to the incredible atmosphere in sunny Brighton. It surely was a wonderful celebration of rugby and music and collaborative creativity.

Good luck to the 124 performers from Year 5 and Year 6
The children in Year 5 and Year 6 have been invited to participate in a unique, once-in-a-lifetime concert to celebrate the Rugby World Cup in Brighton. They will be performing material that has been written by children from around the city; rugby-inspired body percussion, chanting and singing. The concert is a free public event so please come along and support the kids. It'll be a great day out for the whole family as there will be events and food/drink/craft stalls, live music, street entertainment, rugby training sessions for kids etc. all over the city centre. Come and join in and soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the music!
