Brighton Festival Children's Parade
In the Magical and Musical Month of May

The Children in Year 4 participate in the Brighton Festival Children's Parade every May. This parade marks the opening of the annual Brighton Festival.
Last year our theme was...
Wallace is a man with goofy teeth, He likes cheese and he catches a thief
Gromit is a dog, and he loves to play, Loyal to Wallace, never runs away

Cheese, cheese, glorious cheese - tasty, tasty Wensleydale please (repeat)

He’s an inventor and likes to think, Of different ways to clean the kitchen sink
He meets a crazy penguin and a funny sheep, He has a machine that sends him to sleep

Cheese, cheese, glorious cheese - tasty, tasty Wensleydale please (repeat)

He has wrong trousers – the oven goes PING! He invents machines for everything!
He sets up a business to keeps windows clean, He meets lots of people who are cruel and mean

Cheese, cheese, glorious cheese - tasty, tasty Wensleydale please (repeat)

Games, goodies, downloads and fun!

Click HERE to visit the Wallace and Gromit website to access some fun games, download and make a Wallace mask, listen to the musical theme and much more.

Same Sky works with parents, teachers, artists, musicians, choreographers, and 5,000 young people from across the city to create a spectacular parade through the streets of Brighton.

This  year the Guest Director of the festival is the poet, writer, broadcaster and former Children's Laureate Michael Rosen. Hopefully, the children will have a chance to meet him during the Children's Parade.
